After such a fantastic year, I’m excited to announce our dates for 2013!
Be sure to mark your calendars for March 1-3, 2013. Believe it or not, some of the details are already taking shape, so we know it’s going to be an awesome year.

This year at Renewal, we will have the opportunity to help the homeless by creating “Blessing Bags”. We will gather supplies, make them and send them out with the various youth groups that attend this weekend. This would be a great activity to do as a group during your dinner break.
We will provide Gallon size Ziplock bags and you’ll find items to go in the bags, such as:
chap stick
packages of tissues
toothbrush and toothpaste
comb
soap
trail mix
granola bars
crackers
pack of gum
band aids
mouthwash
coins (could be used to make a phone call, or purchase a food item)
snack packs of fruit
snack size drink pouches
travel size aspirin/advil
handwipes
anti-bacterial gel
hand wipes
**everything should be TRAVEL sized!
Have a great week!

Enter this year’s new video contest! Get a group together and submit a 3-5 minute humorous video on the theme of “Crazy Talk”. The winning group will get a FlipHD video camera given to their youth ministry. The top videos will be shown during the youth rally. Groups may enter multiple videos, but the prize will be given to the church they came from to capture memories from upcoming youth events.

This will be a great year for Renewal. Wade Hodges comes highly recommended for his dynamic and thought provoking messages. He will be speaking on the parables. Brishan Hatcher will be here leading worship. Brishan leads worship for Uplift every year, as well as other rallies and conferences. Revival is also working up some great skits again.
And as something a little different, but which I’m really excited about, is Christian Musical Artist “Curvine” will be entertaining us on Saturday night. He uses rap and hip hop as a way to touch the world with the gospel.
Cost is just $10 for the whole weekend. you’ll get a t-shirt, lunch on Saturday, entrance into the sessions and admission to the concert.
The youth rally is for 6-12 graders, but the concert will be open to the public.
See you in March!
